Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a copper wire rod obtains a copper wire rod made of copper or copper alloy, and includes: a preparation step of preparing an up-cast material obtained by performing an up-drawing casting so that a cast slab drawn upward from a cast mold has a wire diameter of 8 mm or more and a ratio of an up-drawing cycle of the cast slab to the wire diameter is 0.5 or less; and a wire-drawing step of obtaining a drawn wire rod by wire-drawing the up-cast material with a degree of processing of at least 40%.
