To properly control the ammonia concentration of a methane fermentation tank, and further to reuse for a methane fermentation system, a liquid content removing a nitrogen content from the liquid generated after treatment of a methane fermentation liquid (digestive juice) by solid-liquid separation equipment.SOLUTION: A methane fermentation system comprises: a raw material adjustment part; a methane fermentation tank in which the raw material adjusted in the above adjustment part is supplied to generate methane; a measurement part measuring the condition of the fermentation tank; a solid-liquid separation part separating a methane fermentation liquid or digestive juice taken out from the tank into the solid and liquid contents; a liquid content processing part lowering the concentration of ammonia dissolving in the liquid content; a return path supplying the liquid content whose ammonia concentration is lowered in the processing part to the raw material adjustment part; and a control part controlling the flow of the liquid content flowing in a section from the tank to the processing part through the solid-liquid separation part on the basis of the measuring result of the measurement part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
