Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a studless tire which is improved in on-ice/snow performance, fracture characteristics (durability), and wear resistance in a well-balanced manner, and to provide a studless tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a studless tire contains a rubber component, silica having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 120 m/g or more and less than 200 m/g, and carbon black. In 100 mass% of the rubber component, the content of an unmodified natural rubber is 10 mass% or more, the content of a highly purified natural rubber having a phosphorus content of 500 ppm or less is 10 mass% or more, the content of a synthetic polyisoprene rubber is 20 mass% or less, and the content of a high-cis polybutadiene rubber having a cis content of 95 mass% or more is 25 mass% or more. The content of the silica is 10-50 pts.mass and the content of the carbon black is 30 pts.mass or more, based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
