Abstract:
To provide a lightweight, high-rigidity and high-strength pipe-like structure capable of being easily and inexpensively manufactured, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a pipe-like structure 10, firstly, machining makes a plurality of cuts 41 formed in a material 40 having a hollow pipe shape. Subsequently, drawing makes the material plastically deformed to expand the cut. Thus, a plurality of polygonal holes 30 are formed in a penetrating manner in a wall surface part 21 of a body part 20 having a hollow pipe shape composed of the material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C
