Abstract:
To provide a suspension-type traveling device configured to be able to easily travel even if a clearance between an obstacle arranged adjacent to a side of a beam-like body and the beam-like body is small.SOLUTION: A suspension-type traveling device 100, which travels while suspending from a beam-like body, is provided with at least one traveling unit 11. The traveling unit 11 is provided with: a pair of holding parts 70 that hold both sides of the beam-like body; a pair of wheel holding parts 76 supported by the corresponding holding parts 70 respectively; a pair of wheels 62 held by the pair of wheel holding parts 76; a pair of support parts 21 supporting the corresponding holding parts 70 respectively; and an interval adjusting mechanism that adjusts an interval between the pair of support parts 21 in a width direction. The interval adjusting mechanism is configured to be positioned inside an outer surface 21a of the support part 21 and an outer surface 70a of the support part 70 in the width direction regardless of the interval between the pair of support parts 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
