Abstract:
To realize down-sizing and reduction in cost of a wire drawing machine which draws a metal wire by use of a wire drawing die.SOLUTION: A wire drawing machine comprises a forming roll, a first capstan, a wire drawing die and a second capstan to which a metal wire is delivered in order, in which a lubrication oil is supplied to the forming roll, the first capstan and the wire drawing die respectively, whereby the first capstan is slipped. Further, a ratio of a wire speed on an incoming side to a wire speed on an outgoing side of the wire drawing die is determined according to reduction of area of the metal wire by the wire drawing die.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
