Abstract:

To avoid in advance a rolling trouble caused by a portion large in amount of off-center.SOLUTION: An operator support device is applied to a rolling system 1 comprising a cold tandem rolling mill 16. In the operator support device, a tensile force, which is applied to a rolled material WK, is so made as to be smaller than that at a first location P3 where a first off-center measuring device 15 is located. This operator support device comprises: a third off-center measuring device 12 which is located at a second location P2 on an upstream side with respect to a first centering device 14 and on a downstream side with respect to the second off-center measuring device 11, and measures an amount of off-center of the rolled material WK; and an output part 23 which outputs data on the visualized amount of off-center measured by the third off-center measuring device 12 in rear time (graph G).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
