Abstract:
Disclosed are a secondary battery and a battery module having the same.According to one aspect of the present invention, a secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly; a sheet-type exterior configured to accommodate the electrode assembly; and a plurality of temperature sensing parts provided adjacent to the exterior to sense a temperature of one area of the exterior, wherein at least one of the temperature sensing parts includes: a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) element; and a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) element.
