Abstract:
To cool an inverter with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In a cooling system 10, an inverter 16 controls voltage to be provided to a drive motor 12 for driving a vehicle. An oil cooler 18 cools heat-up oil by cooling the drive motor 12. The oil cooler 18 also cools the inverter 16. The oil cooler 18 has an oil passage 32 through which oil flows, a cooling water channel 44 through which cooling water for cooling oil flows, and an end plate 50 having heat transfer characteristic higher than that of the cooling water channel 44 and the oil passage 32. The end plate 50 contacts with the inverter 16, thereby the oil cooler 18 cools the inverter 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
