Abstract:
To provide an exhaust state detection device capable of improving sensor sensitivity without narrowing a diameter of a flow passage having a sensor provided therein.SOLUTION: A sensor 5 is provided in a flow passage 2, and the sensor 5 includes a sensor element 8 detecting a state of exhaust gas and a cover 9 provided to cover an outer side of the sensor element 8. A plurality of communication holes 10a, 11a are provided on a side surface of the cover 9, and outlet holes 10b, 11c are provided on an axial center side of the flow passage 2 in the cover 9. A guide cylinder 13 is provided on an outer side of the cover 9. An inflow hole 13a is provided on a side surface of the guide cylinder 13 and at a position opposing to the communication hole 11a on the upstream side of the flow passage in the cover 9, and an outflow hole 13b is provided on the axial center side of the flow passage 2 of the outlet holes 10b, 11c. An opening area of the outflow hole 13b is formed to be larger than that of the inflow hole 13a, and the axial length of the guide cylinder 13 is set longer than that of the cover 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
