Abstract:
To provide a titanium tetrachloride treatment device which is capable of effectively suppressing generation of a gas derived from titanium tetrachloride remaining on activated carbon while reducing an impurity concentration of titanium tetrachloride, and is capable of safely taking out an activated carbon after use in the device.SOLUTION: There is provided a titanium tetrachloride treatment device 1 that removes impurities contained in titanium tetrachloride with activated carbon, wherein the treatment device comprises: an activated carbon filling container 20 filled with activated carbon 22; a titanium tetrachloride inlet 32 located at the end of the activated carbon filling container 20; a titanium tetrachloride outlet 42 located at the other end of the activated carbon filling container 20; and a heating unit provided around the activated carbon filling container 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
