Abstract:
To provide a coupling device utilizing switching of a magnet and a magnetic field, and an expansion structure incorporated with the coupling device.SOLUTION: When electric currents are passed, in a direction in which a driving rod is energized in a coupling direction, to a solenoid coil of an active-side device, in a state where a tip part of the active-side device confronts an opening part of a passive-side device 10, the driving rod and a coupling rod 43 move in the coupling direction. Shutters 14 and 15 are in open states, a tip part of the coupling rod 43 reaches a circular recessed part through the opening part of the passive-side device 10, and a groove part at the tip part of the coupling rod 43 comes to a position between the shutter 14 and the shutter 15. In this state, when electric currents are passed, in a direction in which the tip part of the coupling rod 43 acts as a magnet attracting a permanent magnet, to a solenoid coil at a magnet switching side, the shutters 14 and 15 are attracted to the tip part of the coupling rod 43 to be brought into lock states.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
