Abstract:
To provide a bag tearing device which can tear bags to be torn effectively while achieving weight reduction of the bag tearing device, and to provide a bag tearing method.SOLUTION: A bag tearing device 50 includes: a fluid tank 60; a rotating body 70; and at least one wire 80. A side wall of the fluid tank is provided with nozzle holes which jet a fluid supplied to the fluid tank to the radial outer side of the fluid tank. The wire is formed by a bendable string having flexibility. The rotating body is driven by the fluid jetted from the nozzle holes of the fluid tank to rotate. The rotating body includes jet ports for jetting the fluid, which has been supplied to rotation of the rotating body, to the radial outer side of the rotating body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
