Abstract:
To provide a method for attaching a press-fit screw, which firmly fixes a press-fit screw.SOLUTION: A method for attaching a press-fit screw comprises: inserting a shaft part of a press-fit screw into a through hole provided in a member to be press-fitted; and press-fitting a press-fit locking part of the press-fit screw into the member to be press-fitted to fix it, in which the press-fit screw comprises a head part, the shaft part that is connected to the head part, and the protruding press-fit locking part formed on the seating surface of the head part. When the press-fitting locking part of the press-fitting screw is press-fitted into the member to be press-fitted, the member to be press-fitted is supported by a receiving die. The receiving die has a support surface that supports the bottom surface of the member to be press-fitted. A protrusion part molded on the support surface presses and caulks the bottom surface of the member to be press-fitted as the press-fit screw is press-fitted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
