Abstract:
To provide a waste disposal facility capable of quickly responding to fluctuation of a gas flow rate and fluctuation of a pressure at an inlet of an incineration furnace subsequent to starting charging of waste into an incineration furnace and of stably operating a supercharger, and a method of starting a waste disposal facility.SOLUTION: A waste disposal facility 1 comprises: an incineration furnace 10; a waste feeder 20; a supercharger 30 comprising a compressor 31 and a turbine 32; a preheater 40; a gas feed flow path L1; a gas feeder 60 capable of feeding oxygen-containing gas to the gas feed flow path; a waste-feeder controller that controls the waste feeder so as to start feeding of waste subsequent to starting the gas feeder; and a gas-feeder controller that controls the gas feeder so as to stop the operation of the gas feeder subsequent to feeding waste thereinto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
