Abstract:
To provide a road sign recognition device capable of detecting the presence of a temporary stop sign on the basis of imaging information which is obtained by imaging a front side of a self vehicle, and accurately grasping whether or not the detected temporary stop sign is a sign with respect to a travel traffic lane of the self vehicle.SOLUTION: A road sign recognition device 10 comprises: an imaging information acquisition section 20 for acquiring imaging information which is obtained by imaging a front side of a self device; a road information detection section 30 for detecting a temporary stop sign and a segment which extends along an own traffic lane on a road, from the imaging information acquired in the imaging information acquisition section 20; and a determination section 40 for determining the detected temporary stop sign as a sign with respect to a traffic lane which is different from the travel traffic lane of the self vehicle, on the condition that the temporary stop sign is detected by the road information detection section 30 and a segment extending to a deeper side than a position of the detected temporary stop sign is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
