Abstract:
To provide novel compositions for suppressing TGF-β.SOLUTION: A composition for suppressing TGF-β of the present invention contains a wheat protein hydrolysate. It is preferable to use a hydrolysate that contains 65 to 90 mass% of a glutamine-containing peptide as a wheat protein hydrolysate, and has the ratio of glutamine and glutamic acid to the peptide of 30 to 60 mass%. It is also preferable that the wheat protein hydrolysate contains 30 to 70 mass% of a peptide having a molecular weight of 5000 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
