Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing an increase in friction.SOLUTION: A stator (20) has an annular coil end cover (40) which covers a coil end (21) and defines coolant passages (110, 120). The coil end cover (40) has: an inner peripheral part (41) which is formed so as to face an inner peripheral surface of the coil end (21) at least in a portion covering an upper section of the coil end (21); an outer wall part (42) which is radially erected, on an end face side of the coil end (21), from the inner peripheral part (41); and a folding part (43) which is radially erected, on a stator side of the coil end (21), from the inner peripheral part (41). The inner peripheral part (41), the outer wall part (42), and the folding part (43) define the first coolant passage (110) extending along the inner peripheral surface of the coil end (21).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
