Abstract:
To provide a connector assembly that comprises a fitting lock mechanism and is made compact.SOLUTION: A connector assembly 10 comprises a first connector 20 and a second connector 30 which can be fitted to the first connector 20 from behind. The first connector 20 comprises a first contact 22 and a first housing 26 holding the first contact 22. The first contact 22 has a first lock part 230 having a first lock surface 232 facing forward. The second connector 30 comprises a second contact 32 and a second housing 36 holding the second contact 32. The second housing 36 has a second lock part 380 having a second lock surface 382 facing backward. At least one of the first lock part 230 and second lock part 380 is supported by an elastically deformable support part 384, and is displaceable in a vertical direction. In a fitting state, the first lock surface 232 is located behind the second lock surface 382, and faces the second lock surface 382.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
