Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire for a heavy load which can exhibit durability of an excellent bead part.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire for a heavy load includes a tread part 2, a pair of side wall parts 3, a pair of bead parts 4, and a carcass 6. The carcass 6 includes a carcass ply 6A including a body part 6a and a folded-back part 6b. Each of the bead parts 4 includes a bead apex rubber 8, and a reinforcement cord layer 9. The bead apex rubber 8 includes a first rubber part 11 and a second rubber part 12. The reinforcement cord layer 9 is arranged so that an outer end in a tire radial direction of the folded-back part 6b is positioned between its outer end and its inner end. In a tire cross section, the first rubber part 11 and the second rubber part 12 are arranged so as to pass through the outer end of the folded-back part 6b and cross a carcass normal line 15 orthogonal to the body part 6a. On the carcass normal line 15, a thickness t2 of the second rubber part 12 is equal to or thicker than a thickness t1 of the first rubber part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
