Abstract:
PURPOSE:To mold briefly a molded article having a deep, concave, hollow double wall structure short of partially localized wall thickness by giving a negative pressure to vacuum suction holes to make vacuum molding, closing split molds and molding an article into a final shape. CONSTITUTION:A female mold 1 and a male mold plug 2 are brought near a blank material 6 to give a vacuum pressure to holes 3, 4 through a through hole 5. The blank material 6 is blocked at an initial step on the parting surface around the female mold 1 and the male mold plug 2. In this case, the part facing the protruding mold face of the male mold plug 2 is molded in a vacuum at the part facing this mold face into the shape of the mold face of the female mold 1, while the part fronting the mold face remaining on the male mold plug 2 is molded in a vacuum into the shape of this mold face. Finally, the molding materials of the female mold 1 and the male mold plug 2 are integrated by the final mold clamping at the postion equivalent to the parting faces around the molds to obtain a final shape hollow molded part A.
