Abstract:
PURPOSE:To avoid erroneous operation with respect to a broad liquid temperature region, by detecting the peak value of the voltage output signal of a liquid level detecting element, dividing the voltage, comparing the divided voltage value and the potential signal from the liquid level detecting element, counting the signal output times, and detecting the liquid level. CONSTITUTION:When a detecting element 6 emerges from liquid to air, the potential at a point (a) is rapidly decreased. Since the potential at a point (b) keeps the potential when the detecting element 6 is in the liquid, the potential at the point (b) shows very slow action. When the liquid level is decreased from the liquid level detecting element 6, the potential at the point (a) and the potential at the point (b) are reversed. The output signal, which is made to be a pulse state by a differential circuit 16 through a comparator 13 and an inverter circuit 15, is inputted to a counter circuit 8. When specified times are counted, the liquid level detected signal is outputted to the outside. Even though the splash of the liquid is attached to the liquid level detecting element 6, an erroneous warning is not issued because the output is sent out after the counting of the specified times.
