Abstract:
A method of sticking an appliqué on to a fabric with heat. A platen (B) is arranged above a base (A) so as to move up and down freely; a heater (4) is built into either the platen (B) or the base (A) and a sucker (6) to hold an appliqué (1) by suction is provided to the other. The appliqué, held by the sucker, and a fabric (2) on which the appliqué is to be stuck are compressed between the platen and the base and heated by the heater. When the platen is raised with the suction of the sucker stopped, the appliqué has adhered to the fabric.
