Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I (R1 is lower alkyl; R2 is H or methyl) and its salt. EXAMPLE:6beta-[ ( Hexahydro-1H-azepin-1-yl )methyleneamino ]-2, 2-dimethylpenam- 3alpha-carbonyloxymethyl 2'beta-(4-ethoxycarbonyl-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)methyl-2'alpha-methylpenm- 3'alpha-caboxylate-1',1'-dioxide.hydrochloride. USE:An antibacterial agent against bacteria capable of producing beta-lactamase. PROCESS:A compound shown by the formula II (M is H or metal) is reacted with a compound shown by the formula III (X is halogen), and, if necessary, subjected to a salt-forming reaction, to give a compound shown by the formula I . The compound shown by the formula III is a novel compound, and prepared through a compound shown by the formula IV.
