Abstract:
PURPOSE:To ensure the dagree of freedom of proof-reading and editing process by inputting in advance picture print space information in addition to the input of character data and character composing information and forming a text data with these character data, character composing information and picture print space information. CONSTITUTION:A picture data corresponding to the name of space specified in the text data is read from a picture file 26 by giving the text data 29. The read picture data and the character data forming the main part of the text data are combined by a CPU 25 and a print command data 31 obtained from the result drives a character/picture output means to form a desired character/picture synthesis printed matter 32. Further, the picture management information such as the name of picture inputted from an input means 24, size information of a picture block and size information of picture data is registered to the said picture file 26 at each registered picture data.
