Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject apparatus capable of beating and opening fiber constituting yarn ends without damaging or peeling thereof by specifying plural blades supported by a shaft in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for opening a yarn end obtained by alternately arranging blades 6 respectively having a flat opening edge and saw-toothed opening edge of a rotating beater 4 and alternately changing the direction of teeth in the saw-toothed opening edge. The yarn end is combed so as to be extended in both left and right directions and sawteeth biting in yarn are released with the flat opening edges to open the yarn end without causing breakage, etc., of fiber.
