Abstract:
PURPOSE:To select even a complicated character, etc., on easy-to-see condition by providing a signs retrieval part which retrieves a pattern corresponding to the 3rd character kind inputted by a code input part in a pattern storage part. CONSTITUTION:The signs such as a variety of external characters, symbols, and ground tint which can not be arranged on a tablet 1 is inputted as a code through the code input part. This code is inputted by referring to a code book which contains the correspondence between external characters, symbols, ground tint, etc., and codes. Thus the code of desired signs is inputted through the input part 5, a control part 9 discriminates the input from the input part 5 and sends the code to the signs retrieval part 14. The retrieval part 14 retrieves the pattern of a desired external character or signs from the pattern storage part 15 and sends it to a display control part 16. The control part 16 displays the pattern corresponding to the code on a display part 6b with an actual typeface.
