Abstract:
PURPOSE:To agitate safely and securely a liquid such as blood, etc., enclosed and filled in a container by rotating and driving the container by a driving means through a cap in the state of being supported almost vertically with a supporting component. CONSTITUTION:A container 38 is positioned rotatably and supported almost vertically by a supporting component 37. Also, a cap 40 is formed of an elastic material (for example, rubber) which closes the upper opening end of a container 30 removably. Further, a driving means 31 rotated and drived by diving sources 23 and 24 is brought into contact with the cap mounted on the container 38 and rotates the container 38 by means of friction force. Said driving means 31 counterrotates in the rotating direction by a given cycle and moves up and down with a driving source. A recessed section 40a is formed concentrically on the upper face of the cap, while a projected section 31a of a form matching with the recessed section 40a is formed on the face in contact with the cap 40 of the driving means 31. Safe and secured agitation can be carried out by said agitation device of compact and simple structure.
