Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance efficiency of total heat exchange, by a method wherein a rotor provided with moisture-permeable moisture-absorptive partition plates stacked in a circumferential direction with a spacing therebetween is rotated, and a primary gas flow and a secondary gas flow are periodically alternated between the layers of the stack, so that accumulation of heat and accumulation of moisture are effected through transmission through the partition walls and rotation. CONSTITUTION:The primary gas flow A enters an element 1 through an outside peripheral part, and flows out through a left end part in the axial direction, while the secondary gas flow B enters an element 2 through an outside peripheral part, and flows out through a right end part in the axial direction. By rotating the heat exchanger, the primary gas flow A passed through the element 2 from the right end part to the outside peripheral part, while the secondary gas flow B passes in the direction opposite to that of the primary gas flow A. Exchange of heat and moisture between the primary gas flow A and the secondary gas flow B is effected through the partition walls 3 between the elements 1, 2. In addition, since the heat exchanger 6 is rotated, the primary gas flow and the secondary gas flow are alternated with each other in the element 1 repeatedly to perform heat accumulation and moisture accumulation, so that total heat exchange is conducted in the same manner as in a regenerative rotary type heat exchanger. Accordingly, since total heat exchange is conducted in both a stationary transmission system and a regenerative rotary system, a high efficiency is obtained.
