In a pressure-proof connection between the ends of two pipelines, like a male-female connection, consisting of at least two pipes which are arranged concentrically with respect to one another, in which the annular space between the pipes, or at least one of the annular spaces in the case of more than two concentric pipes, is vacuum-insulated, the outer pipe ends are detachably bracketed to one another with interposition of an O-ring seal, and the inner pipes are firmly pressed against one another by the bracketing, the sealing of the inner pipes being achieved by means of annular ceramic discs which are fitted to the inner pipe ends.
