Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily and securely recognize variation in the quantity of printing light and to easily adjust the quantity of light by composing one pattern for light quantity adjustment by using plural patterns which differ in density variation rate when the quantity of printing light varies. CONSTITUTION:The lateral period of dots 3 of a pattern P1 is x1 and the pitch x2 of a pattern P2, on the other hand, is set close to the pitch x1. Namely, moire is generated when the pattern P1 is superposed on the pattern P1, and consequently an area which is different in density variation rate (dot gain) is formed. Thus, the patterns P1 and P2 which has a small difference in dot gain are put one over the other and then two areas A1 and A2 of the moire are easily generated in one pattern. Consequently, the pattern for light quantity adjustment varies clearly according to the quantity of light, so the variation in the quantity of light is easily confirmed and anybody easily adjusts the quantity of light without using any dedicated tool, etc.
