Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit operation of a conversion designating key to improve the operability and also to improve the processing efficiency, by performing the second conversion of KANJI (Chinese character) to the data supplied successively by means of the terminal character of a clause for correction of an input sentence. CONSTITUTION:The input character data supplied through an input part 1 is set to an input character buffer 2-1 in a conversion main control part 2. It is decided through a key code status table 3 whether the input data is equal to the alphamerics, symbols, KANA (Japanese syllabary), etc. In the case of the alphamerics or symbols, the KANJI conversion is carried out to the KANA characters so far supplied. Then the discrimination is performed to the special KANA in the input character data, e.g., the terminal characters of clauses such as ''BA'', ''GA'', etc. Thus the conversion is performed to the KANA characters so far supplied in the case of a terminal character of a clause. These conversion data of two times are compared with each other via a KANJI conversion control part 6, etc. Then the contents of the latter conversion data are delivered in case a correction is needed. This omits the operation of a conversion designating key and also improves the operability as well as the processing efficiency.
