Abstract:
PURPOSE:To standardize the generating function of a component table by registering format data to define the format of the component table, and editing and generating the component table based on the format. CONSTITUTION:The format data 50 to define the format of the component table 30 is registered, and also, a component is registered by inputting attribute data 51a based on designated format data 50. And the component table 30 of a product is edited, generated and outputted based on the format data of the component referred to product data 60. In such a way, the generation function of the component table can be standardized, and it is not necessary to generate a component generating program corresponding to every product, thereby, it is possible to reduce the number of processes of development in a computer aided design system.
