Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect all abnormalities in a packaged body accurately by inspecting the continuity of a sealing part obtained in a binary-coding means, and detecting the defective part of the sealing part. CONSTITUTION:The image data (d) of an inspection object A having a sealing part are obtained by sensing the image with a camera B. Master image data (b) as a standard for the inspection object are registered (a) in a master-image- data storing means C. The difference in luminances for every pixel of the image data and the every pixel of the master image data is operated. The luminance data for the same patterns in both image data are cancelled by this operation of the difference. Thus, the luminance data for the sealing part are mainly taken out. The luminance data undergo binary coding in a binary-coding means E, and the noise component is removed. Then, the continuity of the sealing part from which the noise component is removed is detected in an abnormality detecting means F. The abnormality of the sealing part is detected based on the degrees of continuance and discontinuance.
