Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lead the search direction of a simple protecting film material and to furnish the protecting film material low in recording sensitivity drop by clarify quantitatively relation between the material constant of protecting film and lowering of recording sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:To assess lowering of recording sensitivity quantitatively a recording sensitivity index is introduced, and further, to consider a rise in temperature at the time of recording in a non-stationary state, the coefficient of thermal diffusion (a) is used as a material constant of the protecting film. Here, the material constant (a) is expressed by a=lambda/(cXrho) where lambda is thermal conductivity, c is specific heat, rho is density.
