Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a device into an LSI and to increase the degree of printed board integration by providing a parameter storage means, a write control means, a section discrimination means, a switching means, a subtraction operation means, a multiplication operation means, and an addition operation means. CONSTITUTION: An initial value, a gradient, and a bias value as parameters of each section related to polygonal line conversion are written in the parameter storage means by a write control means 12, and the section discrimination means compares the initial value of each section with picture data to determine a pertinent section, and the switching means provided for each parameter is switched by a section selection signal outputted from this discrimination means to output the parameters of this section. The difference between picture data and the initial value of the pertinent section out of parameters is calculated by a subtraction operation means 18, and the product of the output signal and the gradient of this section is calculated by a multiplication operation means 21, and the sum of the output signal and the bias value of this section is calculated by the addition operation means 23 to obtain luminance data. Thus, the device is easily made into an LSI to increase the degree of integration of a printed board.
