Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of welding work, and to increase the speed of work of the welding work by connecting a plurality of thermoplastic pipe joints in parallel with a common heating current source, successively changing over conduction from the heating current source to each thermoplastic pipe joint and continuously conducting electricity through the pipe joints. CONSTITUTION:The kinds of each thermoplastic pipe joint 1a-1x constituting a plurality of parallel circuits are read and discriminated by bonding resistors 3a-3x for discriminating kinds installed to these pipe joints to the reading section 4 of a welder. The resistance values of the electric-resistance heating elements 2a-2x of each thermoplastic pipe joint 1a-1x are also measured by a resistance measuring section 7.
