PURPOSE:To eliminate a malfunction due to a current hogging and to obtain a highly integrated circuit in which the number of elements is reduced by replacing an I<2>L gate by a CGI (controlled ground inverter) gate. CONSTITUTION:At the time of writing, npn transistors Q15-Q18 for driving a bit line and pnp transistors Q11-Q14 for supplying a base current to the npn transistors are provided. G11-G16 take the logic of input signals X'1, X2' and Din1-Din8 and control the ON and OFF of Q15, Q16, and Q17, Q18. In such a case, the CGI gates G15 and G16 are used as gates for receiving the OR signals X1' and X2' of an X address and R/W. Thereby, the number of the element can be reduced. The current hogging of a signal input part gate is prevented by using the CGI gate as an input, the scale and the constitution of a memory cell are changed and even when the number of the gates connected to the same signal line is increased, the malfunction is not generated.
