To provide a reactor/mixer capable of self-cleaning to be as clean as possible and easily mixing a solid-containing material by installing a plurality of parallel shafts rotatable in the same direction and a housing, arranging disks, which may be eccentric and are not necessarily to be circular, on these shafts, and installing scrapers on the circumferences of the disks.
This reactor/mixer comprises two or more parallel shafts 2, 2' rotatable in the same direction, a housing surrounding the shafts, disks 3, 3', whose circumferential shape is not necessarily circular and which are installed eccentrically on the shafts 2, 2', and scrapers 4, 4' installed on the circumferences of the disks. The whole surface areas of the scrapers 4, 4' are kinematically cleaned. Moreover, since the surfaces of the scrapers facing outside are all projected, the scrapers are cleaned by neighboring shafts 2' or scrapers 4' or the housing. In the same way, the inside faces are also cleaned. One side face angle of the products formed during the cleaning of the housing by the scrapers 4, 4' is limited to be only 90° or more and in the same manner, the angle during mutual cleaning of the scrapers 4, 4' is limited to be 60° or more.
