Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a water-tight post to be used especially in agriculture and fishery, having high flexural strength at the joint between an end of a metallic pipe and a plug and resistant to the breakage of the edge of a coating layer. CONSTITUTION:A plastic plug 2 has a flange 21 having nearly the same form as the outer form of a metallic pipe 1. An insertion part 22 having nearly the same form as the inner form of the metallic pipe 1 is attached to an end of the flange 21. The insertion part 22 is inserted into the metallic pipe 1 to attach the plug 2 to at least one end of the metallic pipe 1. A plastic coating layer 3 is formed in a state extending from the outer circumference 11 of the metallic pipe 1 to the outer circumference 24 of the flange 21. A ring-shaped ridge 31 is formed on the coating layer 3 along the boundary between the end of the metallic pipe 1 and the plug 2.
