Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS4823401
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
1284686 Treating styrene/divinyl benzene polymers SANKYO CO Ltd 19 Nov 1970 [19 Nov 1969] 55089/70 Heading C3P [Also in Division C2] In Example 4 a styrene/divinyl benzene copolymer (2% DVB) containing chloromethyl groups is reacted with N-tert-amyloxy-carbonylglycine in the presence of triethylamine. The glycine derivative groups are then converted to their hydrochloride form with HCl in acetic acid and the resulting salt washed with dimethyl formamide/triethylamine and then DMF. and methylene chloride. The glycine groups are then reacted with N- t-butoxycarbonyl-L-leucine monohydrate in the presence of triphenylphosphine and 2,21-dipyridyl disulphide, in methylene chloride to produce amide bonds between the glycine and leuco residues. L- leucyl glycine is then separated off the styrene/ divinyl benzene resin support by treatment with CF 3 COOH and dry HBr.
