1423525 Formulation of benzothiadiazinone dioxide derivatives BADISCHE ANILIN-& SODA-FABRIK AG 12 Jan 1973 [13 Jan 1972] 1712/73 Heading A5E A method of formulating a benzo-2-thia-1, 3-diazinone-(4)-2, 2-dioxide, substituted in the 3-position by alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or cyclohexyl, for commercial herbicidal purposes comprises forming in bulk quantity an aqueous solution of a water-soluble salt of the substituted benzothiadiazinonedioxide having a concentration of at least 50 g per liter of solution (calculated as the free acid). The formulations obtained are not subject to deterioration and may be stored and/or transported. The salt may be an alkali metal, magnesium or calcium salt, or an unsubstituted ammonium salt or an alkyl- or hydroxyalkyl-substituted ammonium salt. The formulations also may comprise salts of 2-p-chlorophenoxy-acetic or -propionic acid derivatives and may be diluted with water for use as selective herbicides in crop areas. Growth regulators (e.g. chlorocholine chloride) and fungicides (N-tridecyl-2, 6-dimethylmorpholine) may be included. Specifications 1238314 and 1307726 are referred to.
