1400897 Eosinate stain CALBIOCHEM AG 12 July 1973 [12 July 1972] 33387/73 Heading G1B [Also in Divisions C4 and G2] Eosinates of monomethylthionine dimethylthionine or a mixture may be used to stain haematological and bacteriological smears in a very short time (e.g. 30 seconds). Conventional additives may be used to enhance the coloration of the smears. Even coloration may be achieved by contacting a dry impregnated strip containing absorbed eosinate with an air-dried smear; filter paper is the preferred absorptive material.
