Abstract:
Shoes are mfd. by (a) forming an external skin and an internal skin of the shoe by dipping a shoe mould in a thixotropic soln. of a film-forming polymer, coagulating the polymer, and drying the skins, (b) forming a rigid part of the shoe by dehydrating a suspension of a leather fibres and synthetic fibres on a shaped sieve, and drying the shaped piece, (c) assembling the outer skin the rigid part, and the inner skin by adhesive so as to be hydrophilic, (d) bonding by adhesive onto the support surface of the shoe-shaped piece the preformed insole, (e) gripping the projecting edge.
