1475121 Saw blades ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 8 May 1974 [9 May 1973] 20201/74 Heading B5L [Also in Divisions B3 and C7] Saw blades are coated with a wear-resistant material by heating the blade in contact with hard metal particles and a bonder metal, preferably in powder form. The hard metal particles are preferably of TiC or WC in a Co base, and preferred bonder metals are Ni-, Co-, and Febase alloys containing B and Si, or hard solders. Preferably, the cutting edge and the surfaces of the saw blade adjacent the cutting edge are coated.
