Abstract:
A composition comprises petroleum wax with (A) or (B) wherein (A) is a copolymer of ethylene or propylene with another monomer and ceresin wax or polyethylene, and (B) is polypropylene and polyethylene. Preferred waxes are paraffin and/or microcrystalline wax, and the exemplified copolymers are those with vinyl acetate or ethyl acrylate. Optional ingredients are polyterpene resins, rosins, copal, ester gums and antioxidants such as dialkyl phenol sulphide.
