1490097 Bearings SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 19 Dec 1974 [22 Dec 1973] 54900/74 Heading F2A [Also in Division B3] A strip for use as cylindrical or part-cylindrical bearing liner has a first stable configuration wherein the strip is straight along its length, and curved in section at right angles to its length, and when curved along its length adopts a second stable cylindrical or partcylindrical configuration in which the length of the strip runs round the cylinder, the inside surface of which is the convex surface in the first configuration. Strips may be stacked, stored, and transported in the first configuration, and converted to the second configuration for use.
