1483461 Smoking material IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 26 June 1975 [16 July 1974] 31425/74 Heading, A2C A smoking material comprises a particulate fuel, binder and an inorganic filler, the filler having a surface area of 0.05 to 0.6 square metres per gram when in dry powder form. The filler is preferably calcium and/or magnesium carbonate. The fuel may be tobacco. cellulose, thermally degraded cellulose, or a carbohydrate of the type disclosed in U.K. Specification 1298354. The binder may be a cellulose ether, starch, pectin, mucilage or natural gum.
