Abstract:
Pneumatic pick for mines or construction work has a drill rotor, pistons with freewheel coupling and screw pair so as to divide the housing into action spaces. One piston strikes against the drill steel and the piston which works with the chuck holding the drill steel is kinetically coupled to the rotor. The second of the two pistons (3) is kinetically linked to the main housing (1) and is thus prevented from rotating relative to this in one direction. The screw pair (4) is placed between the two pistons (2, 3) and is made up of male and female threads. The piston linked through the freewheel coupling to the housing should comprise a central piston rod which forms a rotor pair with a head component, and a thread on the rod to form the screw pair with the other piston, whilst straight spline slots at the far end of the piston work with the housing during drilling.
