Benzotriazocine derivatives represented by the formula WHEREIN X, represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an alkyl group, R1 represents a dialkylaminoalkyl group or an aralkyl group, and R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a halogenoacetyl group having useful pharmaceutical activities on the central nervous system, and processes for preparing the benzotriazocine derivatives are disclosed.
